Fashion moves people, OK?
We’ve known plenty of folks who have been moved to tears after a particularly standout show (or, just Chanel). I even got misty eyed during the McQueen tribute at Naomi Campbell‘s Fashion for Relief show. Apparently, all it takes are some pretty baubles to get Brooke Shields reaching for the tissues.
The actress teared up at a jewelry exhibit at the Fred Leighton store in NYC last week which featured the creations of Turkish designer Sevan Biçakçi.
“I get emotional about these things,” Shields told WWD. “When there’s someone like Sevan…someone who’s an artist who sort of represents this new sensibility, when you see those two coming together, I feel like he’s in good hands [with Fred Leighton].”
