Approximately 1.5 decades since Geri, Mel B, Mel C, Victoria, and Emma made “girl power” a thing, the most awesome girl group in the world ever seems to be influencing wearable style in a big way – big as in super-crazy-tall platform shoes. Platform boots, platform sandals, platform sneakers… It’s almost like every pre-teen girl who spent hours unsuccessfully trying to attach styrofoam blocks to the bottoms of her shoes is finally being rewarded for her extreme efforts.
