Fashionista Week In Review: Kate Upton’s Wardrobe Malfunction Caught on Tape, Street Style Psychology and PETA’s Anti-Olsen Twins Crusade

Kate Upton’s Behind The Scenes Video: Banned from YouTube and Vimeo before finally calling GQ’s website home, a behind the scenes video from Kate Upton’s GQ feature by Terry Richardson made waves when it hit the web. Not surprisingly, her boobs are the star of the show.

Fashion Memes Promote Stylish Procrastination: We rounded up our ten favorite fashion-related memes for a good Friday LOL, and now we’re asking you to revisit them because, let’s face it, they’re still hilarious.

Menswear Trends For The Gals: A good suit or blazer is just as much a necessity for men as it is for women, but that’s not where the gender bending ends. We took a look at some of the top street style trends at menswear fashion week and made them work for the girls. We wouldn’t recommend that Nazi-inspired look that’s been trending, though…

Fashionista Week In Review: YSL Rebrands Under Slimane, Kate Upton Takes Over the Internet and the Best of Resort, Part Two

Saint Laurent Paris Does The Timewarp: On Wednesday, we reported that Yves Saint Laurent might be dropping the “Yves” as a means of rebranding the label under the direction of Hedi Slimane, and the very next day the storied fashion house confirmed, sending countless tweeters, bloggers and writers into a tizzy. We, on the other hand, started to think about what would happen if other design houses were to do the same.

Kate Upton’s Busy, Busy Week: The busty blonde graced the cover of GQ (which coincidentally channeled Azealia Banks in her latest music video for “Jumanji”), spoke onscreen about her love of America (and large breasts) and even taught Jimmy Fallon how to Cat Daddy. How’d she do it all? With some seriously genius self-marketing skills.

Asian Beauty Products That Might Just Save Your Skin: Okay, so maybe they won’t save your skin, but they’re certainly bizarre and intriguing enough to warrant a test-run. From charcoal shampoo to a chin contour mask to collagen-boosting marshmallows, we’re curious to see what will be first to hit the shelves of Sephora first (or, alternatively, be banned by the FDA).

Model-Turned-Actress, Everybody’s Doing It: Models are good looking people, and so are actresses. Actresses appear on magazine covers, and so do models. So it makes sense that models might whet their palates and give acting a try, right? Right. We rounded up the many, many models who have transitioned from runway to silver screen and analyzed how seamlessly and successfully they made the jump.

The Sartorialist’s Scott Schuman Doesn’t Understand Why Anyone Wants To Do Magazines

Scott Schuman, the man behind “The Sartorialist” who arguably helped street style photography become the all-pervasive phenomenon it is today, will be receiving the CFDA Media Award for journalism on June 4 along with girlfriend and fellow style blogger, Garance Doré.

In the past Schuman has been pretty outspoken about his success and his general disgust for mainstream fashion media. He continues the dialogue (rant?) in the latest issue of GQ, which hits newsstands May 22. Schuman spouts off to Alex Pappademas about everything from why blogs are better than magazines (historically one of his favorite topics) to his complicated relationship with Dolce & Gabbana. Even Kanye West pops up in the story to offer some worshipful quotes about Schuman. Click through for the highlights of the very entertaining story, which you can read in full here.

Fashion’s Most Stylish Guys Give Mark Zuckerberg an (Almost!) Hoodie-Free Makeover for Facebook’s IPO

Mark Zuckerberg is having quite a month. The Father of Facebook just turned 28, bought out Instagram for $1 billion and is now facing the most lucrative point in his career: Going IPO on Friday. We’d offer him a congratulatory “poke” but sadly, that option’s no longer available. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the IPO acronym, it stands for Initial Public Offering– meaning that the company will finally be open to stock holders where the likes of Wall Street—-and even you!—- can purchase a part of the social media company.

But with the estimated $100 billion that’s supposedly coming his way, we’re wondering whether the Harvard dropout will invest in a new wardrobe. Will he finally change out of his usual uniform consisting of dowdy college hoodies, sweat-drenched Adidas shower flip flops, and tattered baggy jeans, into something more uh, dapper? Better yet, the question posed is this: Can all the money in the world transform someone from HTML geek to sartorial chic? Fashionistas can only hope!

To give him an extra boost, we’ve enlisted the help of several fashion experts from designers like Carlos Campos, Alan Eckstein from Timo Weiland and Simon Kneen of Banana Republic, to editors from GQ and Esquire, to buyers and the likes to see what kind of advice they’d shed onto Silicon Valley’s hottest star. And regardless of whether he takes our suggestions or not (note to Marky Mark: you really, really should!), happy IPO Day! We’d definitely like to send you a congratulatory poke soon—- this time, live and in-person.

Fashion News Roundup: South Park Characters Get Naked for Marc Jacobs, Alexander Wang is Expanding in Asia, and a Model Chooses God Over Victoria’s Secret

Alexander Wang is Expanding Eastward: Alex Wang is breaking the typical fashion business expansion mould (West followed by Eastern markets) with plans to open fourteen locations in Asia in the next year. The designer, who has no plans yet to open any more US stores (he currently has only one in NYC) says he has seen “the progression” of fashion in China years after his mom tried to (lovingly) pressure him into moving there. Wang’s 4,000-sq-ft Beijing flagship store will open its doors next month. {WWD}

Are Adam Levine and Anne V. Dunzo? Rumor has it that genetically-blessed couple Adam and Anne have parted ways after two years of unwedded bliss. The Maroon 5 star was looking “really heartbroken” at a Super Bowl party. Hm. {NY Post}

South Park Strips Down for Marc Jacobs: Following in the nudie footsteps of Victoria Beckham and Naomi Campbell, the cast of South Park have stripped down for some Marc Jacobs tees benefitting The Interdisciplinary Melanoma Cooperative Group at NYU. Thankfully, Muscle Man Marc’s former co-stars have some strategically placed lettering preserving their modesty on the $35 tees – which are really, really funny. {WWD}

Jared Leto Just Turned 40, Was Given GQ‘s ‘Worst Dressed’ Title: Here’s a Look Back at His Fashion Choices

Jared Leto has had an eventful, if a bit confusing, year. He broke the Guinness world record for most shows performed during a single album cycle with his band 30 Seconds to Mars, attended several fashion shows in Paris, hung out with Terry Richardson a lot and turned 40 yesterday. All the while, he experimented with many different hairstyles and attention-stealing outfits, landing him the title of worst dressed man of the year, bestowed upon him by GQ.
