Grace Coddington’s Draws Cats in Punk Clothing for Vogue
This is possibly the best thing to come out of all of this punk fashion insanity.

The Met Ball is like the Oscars for the fashion industry: all the best people in all the best dresses.
This year’s theme, punk, presents an interesting conundrum: will people go all out, liberty spikes and Givenchy nose rings and all, or just throw some studs on a Chanel suit and call it pseudo-punk?
We’re hoping for the former, and so in the spirit of going the distance, we’ve picked out our favorite punk fashions and paired them with Met Ball regulars like Anna Wintour and Julianne Moore and some fantasy guests (Bjork, anyone?).

It’s over! New York Fashion Week wrapped up today with shows by New York fashion’s heaviest hitters: Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, and Marc Jacobs.
At Ralph we caught Anna and Grace sitting front row, at Calvin we took in the structured looks as the models whizzed by, and we got our tans on at Marc since he managed to lasso the sun for his fall show.

Today we hit the midway point in the New York fashion week madness, with shows from Derek Lam, Victoria Beckham, DVF, Zac Posen, and many more.
We got a pretty good seat behind Anna and Grace at Thakoon and spied Bryanboy and Fashionista contributor David Yi rocking matching looks at DKNY. We also caught dreamgirls Crystal Renn and Coco Rocha being beautified backstage as Zac Posen (as if they needed it), and models vogueing backstage at Derek Lam.
Check out everything we saw and snapped from day five of New York fashion week!

Whether you’re looking for a good read to help pass the long days spent inside waiting for spring, or just something pretty to go on your coffee table, we’ve compiled a list of the best style books being released in 2013, plus where to get them. To promote the recent release of Grace: A Memoir, Grace Coddington sat down with The Huffington Post for a chat–and, never one to bite her tongue–sounded off on everything from Alexander Wang‘s appointment to Balenciaga to Nicolas Ghesquière’s next move to body image.
The highlights:
MIAMI–Last night, part-time Miami resident Bruce Weber hosted a signing for his new book, All-American Volume Twelve: A Book of Lessons amidst of Art Basel-mania at The Standard.
While party guests including Chelsea Handler–who attended with her beau, hotelier Andre Balazs–Riccardo Tisci and Anouck Lepere sipped tequila in the Standard’s waterfront garden, we caught up with Weber for some questions about the inspiration behind All-American, working with Grace Coddington, and whether we can expect a gay kiss in an Abercrombie ad anytime soon.
When asked about her first Vogue sitting, a 1994 shoot with Grace Coddington and Steven Meisel, Parker recalled, “[Grace Coddington] pulled a teeny-tiny white bikini off the hanger, and in my whole life I had never worn a bikini…I didn’t wear a bikini as a little girl. I certainly didn’t wear a bikini as an older little girl, and nor would I ever put one on today. I thought ‘It’s Grace Coddington, I should put on what she asks me to do.’ Linda Evangelista sat in the corner and told me how to stand. I have never worn a bikini since.”
