On the 50th Anniversary of Her Death, Here are 10 Celebs Who Have Rocked the ‘Marilyn Monroe’ on the Red Carpet

Since her premature death exactly fifty years ago today, Marilyn Monroe has been like the Bob Dylan of Hollywood: Every new starlet possessing either the curves, candor, or white-blonde locks is considered a contender to fill the void her untimely exit left behind. Few women have come close to filling Marilyn’s impossibly high heels–which were Read more →

Kristen Stewart Wears Heels, Taylor Swift Wears What She Always Wears and More from the Teen Choice Awards Red Carpet

Ah, the Teen Choice Awards–where the attendees are (almost) all under the age of 25 (we feel old), the fashions are cutesy, and the awards are surfboards. We always love to see what the younger set is wearing to the show–and last night’s attendees did not disappoint–even if most of them wore the same short Read more →

‘What’s That Jacket, Margiela?’: Ten of the Best Fashion Lyrics in Hip-Hop

‘What’s That Jacket, Margiela?’: Ten of the Best Fashion Lyrics in Hip-Hop

This information might come as a surprise to the folks over at Vogue Italia, but rappers have been vocal about their love for high-end fashion labels for years.

And the love affair continues. On Nicki Minaj’s latest album, Pink Friday 2: Roman Reloaded the bewigged rapstress shouts out Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour:

When I’m sitting with Anna, I’m really sitting with Anna / Ain’t a metaphor punchline, I’m really sitting with Anna / Front row at Oscar de la Renta, posture / Ain’t a b*tch that could do it, not even my imposter

And even more recently, fashion fanatic Kanye West boasted about his fashion exploits on his new track “Theraflu”, from dinner with Anna Wintour to racing go karts with Anja Rubik:

Happy Halloween! From Nicole Richie as J.Lo to Michael Kors as a Zombie Mariachi, Here are the Best Celeb Costumes

Since Halloween falls on a Monday this year, a lot of parties were planned for this past weekend. Celebs, fashion people, and various reality TV riff-raff were all out in full force with their costumes blazing. From strippers to princesses, the costumes ran the gamut.

Oh, and of course there was Heidi Klum (left) who went as a…medical school cadaver? Anatomy drawing? Flaying victim? Klum told People her costume was called “visible woman” and described it as “kind of like a dead body with the first layer of skin ripped off…it’s basically like me naked.”

Peep Gwen Stefani’s Entire Harajuku Mini Collection for Target

Gwen Stefani’s children’s line for Target won’t hit stores until November 13, but we just got our hands on the full look book so you can peruse what may be the most unique collection of clothing ever designed for those under the age of four.

Your kids may not understand what Harajuku means, but unless they possess the rare sophistication of Suri Cruise, they will probably love these clothes because they look like what an overstimulated child would pick out if left to his or her own devices. The line, which caters to infants, toddlers and tweens, is halloween costume-meets-ballerina-meets-schoolgirl. While your baby might get some weird looks for wearing a pink/floral/striped tutu with legwarmers or sweatpants with giant bunny ears on the butt, the clothes are, for the most part, practical and appropriate. You won’t find any kiddy lingerie here.

So, click through for all the clothes and accessories that Nicki Minaj is totally wishing came in her size.

Fashion News Roundup: Sneak Peak at Gwen Stefani’s Harajuku Mini Line for Target, Jay-Z’s Designing Brooklyn Nets Uniforms and Another Critic Disses Tom Ford

First look at Gwen Stefani’s Baby Clothes: Here’s a taste of what’s to come from Gwen Stefani’s Harajuku Mini line for Target, which will hit stores November 13. Sizing will range from 6 months to 16 years, which means we, and possibly Nicki Minaj, may be able to fit into some under-$30 Harajuku tutus. {Celebrity Babies}

Jay-Z’s Designing Jerseys with Adidas: Jay-Z, prolific hip hop artist, clothing designer and co-owner of the newly named Brooklyn Nets, will proudly be designing the team’s new uniform in collaboration with Adidas. {New York Post}

Another Critic Dares to Critique Tom Ford: Le Figaro‘s Virginie Mouzat has recently given her account of Tom Ford’s exclusive show during London Fashion Week. Like Lynn Yaeger and Jess Cartner-Morley, Mouzat gave a review that was not exactly glowing. In fact, she literally calls it “an out-of-style Gucci collection from ten years ago” and then goes on to list all of the other designers she thinks Ford copied. {Le Figaro via The Cut}

Gwen Stefani Might Choose No Doubt Over L.A.M.B. This Fashion Week

Gwen Stefani Might Choose No Doubt Over L.A.M.B. This Fashion Week

One of our favorite celebrity clothing designers may not be taking the bow at her upcoming runway show during New York Fashion Week next month.

However, Gwen Stefani has a pretty good excuse–she’ll (possibly) be in Los Angeles finishing up No Doubt’s first new album in 10 years, which we are so excited about that we’re pretty sure we can forgive her. Plus, with three clothing lines (including Harajuku Mini which launches at Target in November), two fragrances, and Zuma, she has a lot on her plate.

A spokesperson for L.A.M.B. told Page Six, “Given the extraordinary demands of working on three fashion lines while also finishing a new record, it is hard to say whether she will be able to attend the actual presentation in New York next month.”

This makes us wonder how important Gwen Stefani’s presence at her show really is.
