Unlikely Pair: Jake Davis of Jake Davis Test Shots recently designed two pairs of men’s shoes for Sebago’s Nexus Project. While there is nothing particularly feminine about the footwear, Jake chose a female subject to advertise them. Gorgeous model Rachel Ballinger (who you might recognize from, um, the Urban Outfitters website) moves gracefully atop a New York City rooftop in Jake’s designs. Under the Sea: In Seoul this weekend, models performed some version of synchronized swimming in an underwater fashion show to showcase the designs of Park Sul-Nyeo. The event marked the launch of a new Korean department store. We’re awe-struck not only by the fact that these models were evidently able to hold their breath for minutes at a time, but also by how pretty these dresses looked under water. {Daily Mail}
