Ever since we heard that Marc Jacobs was cast in a movie, we’ve been feverishly awaiting more information (and okay, maybe cooking up a few too many fantasy roles for him). Well, the wait is over.

According to Marc Jacob’s IMDB page, the designer has been cast in indie drama Disconnect, set to premiere in 2012. The film is directed by Henry Alex Rubin (who previously directed the Oscar-nominated documentary Murderball) and will feature a slew of notable actors including Jason Bateman, Alexander Skarsgard, Andrea Riseborough, Paula Patton, Frank Grillo and Michael Nyqvist.
