Garance DorĂ© Doesn’t Think The Vogue Kiddie Diet Article Was Necessarily A Bad Thing: While we’re all up in arms over Dara Lynn Weiss’ “Weight Watcher” testimony in this month’s Vogue, blogger Garance DorĂ© thinks it does serve a positive purpose. She writes, “…I find it good that Vogue, through that testimony, breaks the silence of one of those ‘normal’ women that live with a food disorder all their life.” While she makes a good argument for awareness, it’s not like there isn’t a huge discourse about eating disorders, especially in the fashion world. Today the Fashionista team was busy running all over Manhattan to catch shows from Alexander Wang, Prabal Gurung, Altuzarra, Band of Outsders, Rachel Antonoff, Wes Gordon, and so many more!

Fashion 2.0 Awards Winners Announced: The 3rd annual Fashion 2.0 Awards, which honors the fashion brands that have been most innovative in the media and technology, were held in NYC last night by the Style Coalition. Winners of the night included DKNY for Best Twitter, Marc Jacobs for Best Website, and one of our personal favs, Instagram for the Next Big Thing in Tech. The big winners of the night, for the Fashion 2.0 Visionary Award, were Gilt Group co-founders Alexis Maybank and Alexandra Wilkis Wilson. {Fashionista Inbox}
