Kate Moss
Unless you decided to spend your long weekend under a rock, you probably know that Kate Moss married her longtime rocker boyfriend Jamie Hince in a private (at least more private than that other wedding), ceremony at her house in the Costwolds on Friday. Luckily, the matter of her dress was settled immediately after the ceremony with the release of these photos of her in Galliano (and the groom in YSL). And the designer did in fact attend the wedding, according to British Vogue. While the dress has gotten mixed reviews, British Vogue‘s Harriet Quick was a fan, writing: “It was a superb dress and pure Galliano–bias-cut, nostalgic and wonderful–a tribute to him. Moss returns to that waif we all fell in love with.”
Kate’s maids of honor reportedly wore Stella McCartney and Erdem, while her younger bridesmaids wore frocks made by French children’s clothing brand Bonpoint. McCartney also designed three post-wedding outfits–a first dance dress, an after-party dress and a white three-piece going away suit, which you can see below as she makes her way to the helicopter waiting to take her and Jamie to their honeymoon. According to the Mirror, one of the stops on said honeymoon will be Timbuktu, which Kate reportedly didn’t know was a real place.

Read more »Let’s be honest, Kate Moss could have worn anything for her walk down the aisle with Jamie Hince and would have looked amazing.
While her Galliano-designed dress is absolutely stunning, it is a rather safe choice for the risk-taking style icon.
We’ve decided to bring you a roundup of all the best white looks from the runways, as a helpful comparison. Perhaps Moss should’ve gone a more wild route with a Viktor & Rolf creation or veered toward the classic in Narciso Rodriguez?
Check out the white ensembles we’ve selected. And let us know if you like Moss’ choice or think she could have gone more daring.
And remember, there’s still more Moss-mania to come – her reception dress is designed by Stella McCartney. Could it be one of the paillette options we’ve selected?

YSL has confirmed the rumor that Hince and his “best man” Alison Mosshart of The Kills are wearing designs by the label’s creative director Stefano Pilati at Hince’s wedding to Kate Moss, which is taking place as we write this.
Pilati has also designed the groom’s wardrobe for the rest of the wedding festivities.
We’re excited to see Pilati’s take on the classic tux for the scruffy rocker.

Kate Moss is getting married tomorrow, and while the internet is abuzz with predictions about her dress, we’ve decided to focus on the best Kate Moss bridal moments of the past.
Throughout her modeling career, arguably one of the longest in the biz (after Carmen dell’Orifice), Moss has played the bride time after time for clients like Vogue UK, Agent Provocateur, and Burberry. She also just happens to look great in white.
We’d be pleased if she chooses any of these options to wear on her big day, though the Agent Provocateur ones may be a bit skimpy for the reception…

Sarah Jessica Parker Will Cover August Vogue, Kate Moss Will Cover the All-Important September Issue
Conde Nast has chosen Kate Moss and Lindsay Lohan to cover two of their biggest September issues, Page Six is reporting (the Post calls them “beloved bad girls”). Moss will cover Vogue and Lohan, who is currently under house arrest, will cover Vanity Fair.
Our sources at Conde have confirmed that Moss will indeed cover September, accompanying a Testino-shot story that focuses on her July nuptials (for which Testino is the official photographer). Currently, the details about Moss’s upcoming wedding to Jamie Hince are being kept top secret, but it’s unlikely we’ll have to wait until September to hear anything about it (like who’s designing the dress??). Also, this is at least Moss’ fourth Vogue cover this year–she already covered the Brazilian, Japanese and French editions of the mag and is apparently rumored to be covering next month’s British Vogue. Since 1993, she’s covered American Vogue eight times, most recently 2008′s August “age issue.”
Speaking of August…our sources have also confirmed that Sarah Jessica Parker will cover Vogue’s age issue this year, to promote her upcoming film I Don’t Know How She Does It.

Read more »Kate Moss has been the face of the UK drugstore makeup brand Rimmel London for ten years, but now it seems she’s been doing some behind-the-scenes work for the brand. The girls at Sassybella attended a Coty press event in Sydney and were surprised with the news that Kate designed a color collection for the brand, called appropriately enough, the Kate Moss Make Up Collection for Rimmel London.
The collection includes six lipsticks, in an intriguing array of colors, from orange to a very 90s grey-purple. Eye shadows and mascaras are included. (One can assume that the ads for these won’t involve any controversial touch-ups, like her 2007 Rimmel mascara ads.) The packaging is very Brit. Kate’s signature appears on the lipstick tubes, which are emblazoned with a Union Jack. There’s also a sparkly leopard print lipstick pouch which will be a gift-with-purchase.
Right now, we have no information about when or where Kate’s collection will be available, but, like her fashion collaborations, it’s sure to be a sell-out wherever it ends up. Here’s a peek:

Is John Galliano Designing Kate Moss’ Wedding Dress? The model has refused to shun the displaced designer, a longtime friend of hers, and now rumors are flying that Gallino’s boyfriend Alexis Roche will oversee final fittings and dress details for her nuptials while his boyf prepares for next month’s Paris trial. It’s not confirmed, though. Moss’ fiancee Jamie Hince denies the speculation. {Daily Mail}
