Duchess Kate Was NOT Wearing Real Fur: All woodland creatures can now breathe a sigh of relief. After garnering praise from the International Fur Foundation and extreme criticism from PETA (shocker) over a shearling-type jacket she wore on an outing with Wills, the Palace sent out a press release stating that the fur worn by the Duchess formerly known as Kate Middleton was, indeed, faux. {Vogue UK}

Get Ready for CK One Cosmetics: After 18 years as a brand, CK One will introduce its first-ever makeup collection. The reasonably priced cosmetics will launch in the US exclusively at Ulta stores in April. The beauty products, which are faced by the likes of Lara Stone and and Abbey Lee Kershaw, won’t be about transformation (hello, digital alteration…), but about “looking real, defining yourself and adding intensity.” {WWD, subscription required}

Move over Kim, Kourtney and Khloe. Kendall and Kylie, who are 16 and 15, respectively, are already giving their older half-sisters a run for their money–starting with the fashion business. While they’ve yet to do much more than a few modeling gigs (see Kendall’s latest coup for indie fashion mag Lovecat here),WWD announced today that they’ve signed a deal with accessories company Glamhouse to launch an as-yet-unnamed jewelry and accessories line geared towards teens and tweens.

We got our hands on a sneak peek at the recently-turned 16-year-old’s “sexy” shoot for new mag Lovecat and exclusive first look at the interview.

Lovecat, which is in its third issue, bills itself as a “model fanzine” and called its last issue the “Sextember Issue.” We have to admit we were a little worried upon seeing “KENDALL JENNER SEXY SHOOT” in our inboxes, especially after her recent bikini shoot. But there’s nothing scandalous here. If anything, it’s all a little random.

Kendall Jenner’s body looks pretty banging in Aussie label White Sands swimsuit shoot. But she’s also only 15. This makes us feel conflicted.

Of course, we’re not exactly surprised. Kendall and little sis 14-year-old Kylie have already walked the runway (defying a little thing called the CFDA-imposed 16-year-old age minimum) and Kendall has starred in risque shoots before. And after all, this is the family who shot to fame after big sis Kim Kardashian starred in a sex tape.

What’s more, Kendall is only slightly younger than the average model, and many girls get their start at just 15–Karlie Kloss and Lindsay Wixson come to mind.

When we heard Kylie Jenner would be walking in Avril Lavigne’s Abbey Dawn show this fashion week, we have to admit we were a little surprised to hear we wouldn’t be seeing Kendall on the runway. While both are tall and pretty, we’ve seen Kendall pursue her modeling career on Keeping Up With the Kardashians (come on, you know you watch too).

Maybe she was too scared or didn’t want to Pippa her little sis. Or, perhaps Sherri Hill, the line of prom wear that Kendall has been the face of for almost a year, had an exclusive on the in-demand model.

She walked in three very flashy outfits for Sherri Hill’s runway show Wednesday night while Kim and Kourtney looked on from the front row. Hopefully Kris was backstage with Kendall, since she’s actually only 15, still under the CFDA-recommended 16-year age minimum for runway models (though we realize, duh, Sherry Hill is not a member of the CFDA). But, as we’ve learned, the Jenners don’t seem to care about that and it’s not like the CFDA can arrest them, so there ya go. Click through for a video, courtesy of E!

Last night punky pop singer Avril Lavigne showed her Abbey Dawn collection of “Music is My BF” tees, “Hell Yeah” wedge booties, and “Heartcore” dresses at the Metropolitan Pavilion as part of Style 360′s collection of shows during New York fashion week.

But the show wasn’t about the mall-rat-ready clothes. It was about the Kardashian’s. Kylie Jenner, 14, one of the youngest members of the Kardashian crew walked in the show (despite the CFDA’s guidelines suggesting models be at least 16), and most of her famous family came out to support her. Kourtney, Kim, and Kim’s new husband Kris Humphries were all there. So was Kylie’ half-brother Brody Jenner, who also happens to date the “designer.” (I guess music isn’t Avril’s BF?).

Once the paparazzi scrum receded and the flashbulbs stopped popping, the Kardashian’s cheered their sister on like any normal family as she walked the runway. They screamed, took photos, and when she closed the show, threw a bouquet at her. And when the show was over, their security swooped in, and the family was escorted backstage, trailed by paparazzi–a not-normal family once again.

Should 14-Year-Old Kylie Jenner be Allowed to Walk in Avril Lavigne’s Runway Show?

Kendall Jenner may have been afraid to do runway, but Kylie (left) is apparently welcoming the challenge. The Kardashians‘ younger half-sister will be making her New York Fashion Week debut next Monday at Style 360-Metropolitan Pavilion, where Avril Lavigne plans to send her Abbey Dawn collection down the runway, WWD reports. To connect the dots: Avril’s boyfriend is Kylie’s half brother (and former Hills star) Brody Jenner. They’re such a tight-knit family!

The only problem: Kylie just turned 14, which is well below the CFDA-imposed 16-year age minimum for runway models. Since February of this year, when these guidelines were announced, it’s been a gradual adjustment for some–having lead to a recent request by the CFDA that designers start carding models at their shows. We reached out to Steven Kolb, CEO of the CFDA, and here’s what he had to say:

The CFDA Health Initiative guidelines are suggested recommendations put forth for the industry. The latest version has been distributed widely. We are not in a position to police or enforce these recommendations. We can only hope that they are followed and taken seriously and are happy that so many in our industry are acting responsible.

So, should Kylie be karded?
