And while we’re certainly going to miss the endless procession of gorgeous gowns, now that the dust has settled we finally have a chance to reflect on the highs (and lows) of the eleven-day star-studded event.

Chanel just launched thelittleblackjacket.chanel.com, an “e-exhibition” of Lagerfeld-lensed models and celebrities wearing black Chanel jackets styled by Carine Roitfeld (a live exhibition just opened in Tokyo). Rodarte, Prada, Honor…Some of our favorite labels–and ones we don’t often see at awards shows–made an appearance on the red carpet at last night’s Critics’ Choice Awards, and boy was it a treat.
From Diane Kruger’s Prada gown from Spring 2012 (one of our hands-down favorite collections of the season) to Elle Fanning’s Rodarte ensemble, last night’s dresses were surprisingly high fashion. Cross your fingers that the red carpet keeps moving in this direction!
