Last year’s silly, dramatic Met gala rumor was that Anna Wintour had banned Kim Kardashian from attending, leaving Kanye West to go stag. This was obviously not the case this year–Kardashian not only attended the event, but was also welcomed into Wintour’s home the night before.
However, if the celebrity gossip rags are to be believed (which, ya know), this year’s Met Ball was not as drama-free as it seemed.

At this season’s Heart Truth Red Dress show, the celeb-filled fashion show to raise awareness about heart disease, the catwalk strutters skewed a little younger than usual. Gymnasts Gabby Douglas and Nastia Liukin walked (they didn’t handspring, sadly), as did Kendall and Kyle Jenner (preceded on the runway by mom Kris), and gorgeous Aussie snowboarder Torah Bright. Minka Kelly and Jamie Chung represented the stunning starlet set, and Soledad O’Brien and Savannah Guthrie brought a little TV journalist gravitas to the proceedings. Kelly Osbourne was on the red carpet, rather than judging it. Toni Braxton and Wendy Williams provided a few goddess moments. Exercise guru Jillian Michaels was there, too, and easily had the best triceps of the whole bunch.

Khloe Kardashian’s Cool With Her Mom Calling Her Fat: So maybe it was Kris who forced poor Khlo-Khlo into that kaftan kover-up! Khloe Kardashian told Cosmo that, while she would’ve immediately fired any manager who told her to shed the lbs… it’s a lot tougher to fire a momager. Gareth Pugh’s Insane Ballet Costumes: The outlandish designer (and former ballet dancer)’s latest effort involves some Robots in Disguise-looking costumes for new ballet Carbon Life, which premieres tomorrow at London’s Royal Opera House and also features a score by Mark Ronson. While those scary point shoes may look restrictive, Pugh insists that they allow “the foot [to] do everything that it needs to do”– which doesn’t quite count out the possibility of using the foot as a deadly assault weapon. Looks like Kris Jenner doesn’t get her way all the time. Early this month we learned that the Kardashians were shopping a Kardashian mag, with all editorial content to be supplied (and controlled) by the Kardashians themselves.
What had people scratching their heads was that the negotiations were reportedly taking place with American Media Inc. (AMI), who owns Star (among other titles). Star broke the story about the Kardashians allegedly using child labor sweatshops to produce some of their products, and the back-and-forth got pretty ugly. So why would the family want to work with a company that was publishing such unsavory stuff about them?

Bebe Says ‘I Do’: The mega retailer has ditched one reality TV star (Kim Kardahian) for another (Project Runway contestant Rami Kashou) in an attempt to revamp their brand into something a little more sophisticated. Rami will be designing the brand’s all-growed-up line of bridal wear, which she describes as “feminine, elegant, timeless and romantic.” {The Cut}
Kim Kardshian just revealed the Kardashian Khristmas Kard for this year, and it’s about as over-the-top as you’d expect it to be. It has the entire family modeling formal menswear looks, with the exception of momager and matriarch, Kris Jenner, who’s front and center in a skin-tight, spangled teal number. But it gets better.
