Lady Gaga premiered her latest music video last night on So You Think You Can Dance (or was supposed to, and it apparently got cut off or something? I don’t watch that show). Regardless, it’s all over the internet today. There is something weirdly ’80s/low-budget/tame about the stripped down video, but what really separates it from past Gaga videos is the lack of outfit changes–in fact, there are none–Gaga wears the same revealing studded black leather vintage Versace number throughout. Granted, it is a pretty special piece–we have it confirmed, and are surprised to hear, that this is the first time Donatella has ever opened her archives to collaborate on a music video. Donatella said of the collaboration: Read more »

Want to get up close and personal with Gaga‘s infamous meat dress? You can, starting today. It goes on display at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland as part of the “Women Who Rock: Vision, Passion, Power” exhibit, and it will be there through February 2012.

In case you’re thinking, “Ew, rotten meat,” fear not.

Celine to Reissue the Classics: The brand is taking six of Phoebe Philo’s best ensembles and re-releasing them in new color palettes: aqua cuffs on a button-down and a cobalt blue tuxedo pop out and scream “Buy me! I’m available in July at Bergdorfs, Jeffrey New York, Barneys and Kirna Zabete!” {The Moment}

James Franco, Photographer? Franco has been looking to break into new forms of art/self expression and is now adding photographer to his ever-expanding repertoire. In a collaboration with Joe Zee, Franco shot Agyness Deyn for a spread in Elle. If it’s anything like those strange videos the two filmed last year, it should be quite interesting. {WWD}

“I mean, is it really that different when it’s a skinny white woman in a bathing suit singing these things? None of these women ever wear pants, first of all. Second of all, just because you’re wearing a goofy hat doesn’t make it performance art. I mean, that’s just my feeling about it. A lot of the music just sounds like bad Euro disco, though that first Ke$ha song “TiK ToK” was good. But (Katy Perry’s) “I Kissed a Girl” was just straight-up offensive. The whole thing is like, I kissed a girl so my boyfriend could masturbate about it later. It’s disgusting. It’s exactly every male fantasy of fake lesbian porn. It’s pathetic. And she’s not a good singer. I don’t want to trash other women.”

It seems like you can’t walk ten feet without seeing a nipple today. First, Lady Gaga all over the CFDA awards, then Khloe Kardashian’s six minute exposed nipple extravaganza on Fox and Friends this morning, during which she sat chatting with the hosts in a see through top and no bra. (Showing no embarrassment, Khloe later tweeted: “Thank God! I f*cking love nipples!!!!”)

In honor of these two class acts, we decided to do a nip slip retrospective. You may be surprised at some of the starlets who’ve let their girls come out unannounced. Yes, the usual suspects like Mischa and Paris are there, but so are Keira Knightley and Beyonce.

Click through to get an eyeful. (Needless to say, this is NSFW.)

Last night’s CFDA Awards were a decidedly star-studded affair, what with Lady Gaga, Kanye West, Sofia Coppola, Jessica Alba, Gerard Butler, Naomi Watts, and host Anderson Cooper spending time on the stage. Cooper had to leave early because of “that Weiner thing,” or so Diane von Furstenberg said, but otherwise the audience received plenty of face time with their star of choice–there were even a couple of moments when one could forget this was, you know, a fashion industry event. But only a couple.

Lady Gaga received the Fashion Icon award at last night’s CFDA Fashion Awards ceremony, and her outfit didn’t disappoint, at least from a visual shock value perspective. She wore a custom Mugler outfit and 24-inch heel-less platforms. The long train on the Mugler proved to be removable, because she accepted her award on stage in a bodysuit with a spiked thong. The bustier was precariously placed, and she managed to flash some nipple on the purple carpet, which we highly doubt was accidental. Read more »

If you’ve been following photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin’s Tumblr you know that the duo have been working on photographing CFDA nominees and models for this year’s CFDA journal. Our favorite shot is still the back of Anja Rubik’s big hair, held up by sheets of cardboard and clips.

Today, the famed photog duo have released several official finished portraits of designer nominees. According to WWD, Inez tried to get everyone to strip down for their portraits. Shockingly, Marc Jacobs is the only nom to have been photographed shirtless.

Take a look at Inez and Vinoodh’s CFDA portraits–they just released one of Kristen Mcmenamy looking a little pissed off with a cigarette hanging out of her mouth.

We’re glad to see that while Gaga’s style and hair constantly evolve, she still embraces her signature money shot: the exposed ass. The picture at left, which we saw hints of a few months ago, is a promotional photo for her just released Born This Way album.

Coinciding with the release of Gaga’s long-anticipated album is an in-depth Rolling Stone interview, which you’ll be able to read this Friday. The mag published some juicy excerpts, making us excited to read the entire thing.

Were you wondering who on earth would wear Viktor and Rolf‘s fall collection? The collection that was worn by models who had their faces painted bright red (face paint that may or may not have sent Lindsey Wixson home with an allergic reaction)? Because it’s obviously Lady Gaga. She wore one of Viktor and Rolf’s leather jackets with starburst epaulet’s on Letterman last night, a mask, some crazy eye makeup and very little else. “I only liked the jacket, so I decided that’s all I would wear,” Gaga explains to Dave when he asks, confusedly, “What are you wearing? I mean, what aren’t you wearing?”

The hilarious interview continues from there. Read more »

It will stock special collaboration items from Pamela Love, Nasir Mazhar, Meadham Kirchhoff, and Ann-Sofie Back and will be located…somewhere near a florist? {Racked}
