Style.com’s New Print Mag To Hit Newsstands Next Week, Will Cost $14.99

Back in April, we reported that Style.com would be launching a print magazine in the near future and now, here it is.

The New York Times reports that the glossy magazine will hit newsstands next week and will go by the name of Style.com/Print. Besides its awkward title, which the Times‘ Eric Wilson calls “puzzling” and the slightly befuddling concept to begin with (how would clicking through endless runway shows translate into print?), the new magazine actually sounds pretty interesting.

Exclusive: Oyster Mag’s First International Issue Launches With Lindsey Wixson on the Cover–Here’s What Happened Behind-the-Scenes

Indie mag Oyster relaunches with a bang this month, nabbing It-model Lindsey Wixson for the cover. [Ed. note: We just got word from Oyster that the issue is actually the launch of the mag's first international issue.]

The Oyster crew decamped to Nashville, Tennessee for Oyster’s October/November cover starring Lindsey Wixson, photographed by Will Davidson with creative direction by Stevie Dance. The editorial, titled “Lindsey the Legend,” takes a look at the other side of buzzed-about model Lindsey Wixson. You know, the homegrown American teen, not the gap-toothed vixen you may be used to seeing on Terry’s Diary.

Fashion News Roundup: Watch Tavi Rap, Lindsey Wixson Demonstrates How To Shoot A Gun and that Awful “Anna Rexia” Costume

West Hollywood Bans The Sale of Fur: It’s the first U.S. city to do so. The law doesn’t include animal pelts or secondhand/vintage pieces though. {Daily Mail}

Ricky’s Was Going To Sell An “Anna Rexia” Costume: It featured a skeleton frame printed on a skintight black dress and had a “measuring tape” belt, presumably so the wearer could show off how tiny her waist is. Obvious outcry forced the store to pull the costume; how did this even get produced in the first place?? {Jezebel}

Watch Tavi Rap In A Cab: Refinery29 interviewed the 15-year-old blogger about her fashion week experience, high school and secret talents, which includes rapping Nicki Minaj. {Refinery29}

The 12 Most Internet-Crazy Models

Obviously, as fashion-obsessives, we’re a little nutty about models. We’re also pretty into blogging. And tweeting. Oh, and Tumbling, too. With that said, it shouldn’t be a surprise that we really adore the Supes that gratuitously plaster themselves all over the web. Some are incredibly savvy (whaddup, Coco?); some just run a hilarious Twitter. Either way, these accounts should all be on your must-follow list. Click through for the full list, and let us know if we missed your favorite internet-obsessed model.

Fashion News Roundup: Prada Goes Public, Sarah Ferguson Talks Royal Wedding, and Gaga’s Dress Sold for $20k

Prada’s Stock Officially Goes Public: Want to own a piece of Prada? Its IPO will take place June 23 or 24 before it trades on the Hong Kong stock exchange. We wonder if shares come with a free bag. {WWD, subscription required}

Woody Allen + Dior?: Woody Allen’s new film Midnight in Paris is full of high-end French luxury brands, like Goyard and…Christian Dior? One can only assume that the goods were given to the film before the Galliano scandal, or that Allen can easily dissociate the designer from the brand, which should make Dior very happy. {PageSix}

Sarah Ferguson Speaks and Says Some Weird Shit: Like that her husband, Prince Andrew, who she divorced in 1996, is her soulmate. And that she had to have her daughter, Beatrice, talk to the Harper’s Bazaar people to help them deal with her mum’s “freak out.” Her new reality show on OWN may get a place on our DVR. {Harper’s Bazaar}

The Lady Gaga Dress on Gilt Sold in Seconds: For $20,000. So don’t be sad, because you couldn’t have afforded it anyway. {The Cut}

Model Dominoes: Watch Lindsey Wixson and More Fall at Naomi Campbell’s Fashion For Relief Show in Cannes

Every top model has taken a tumble down the runway–it’s a right of passage. Yesterday, at Naomi Campbell‘s Fashion for Relief show in Cannes, it was Lindsey Wixson‘s turn to take a memorable spill.

The 17-year-old model of the moment wiped out three times at Campbell’s charity fashion show, this installment to benefit Japan. And like a true top model, she took it in stride and kept a smile plastered across her face. But Wixson wasn’t the only one to take a fall–two other catwalkers stumbled, too.

Wixson et al. are not the first models to take show stopping falls at one of Naomi Campbell’s Fashion for Relief shows. At Campbell’s charity show to benefit Haiti during NYFW in February 2010, Agyness Deyn fell twice and eventually took off her shoes and walked the rest of the runway barefoot.

Take a look at Wixson’s wipe out, frame by frame, as well as a video of her epic fall, courtesy of some show called “Showbiz 411,” via the Daily Mail.

We Heart: Terry Richardson’s Opening Ceremony Look Book, Starring Lindsey Wixson

Shopbop‘s got a great interview today with Opening Ceremony’s Humberto Leon and Carol Lim, which you should definitely check out.

The duo’s wise words make it a must read, but the accompanying images from Opening Ceremony’s Spring 2011 look book–starring Lindsey Wixson and shot by Terry Richardson–shouldn’t be missed, either. If you haven’t perused the entire look book yet, you can do so right here. (Oh, and the best news: most of the stuff is available to buy on OC’s site right now.)
