One of the many details about Hedi Slimane’s Saint Laurent debut in Paris that had everyone buzzing was the fact that Slimane had cast several relatively unknown models as exclusives and kept them a secret until the runway show.

Now that Paris Fashion Week and the drama-filled fallout are behind us, one of those models gave an interview to The Cut about how she was plucked from relative obscurity to fly to Paris to hang out and “work with” Hedi Slimane for several weeks leading up to the show.
