Gucci Partners With Christie’s: A Step Toward Better Control of Its Secondary Market

Today marks the launch of “Gucci Collector: Presented by Christie’s,” the first Gucci-certified online destination for appraising vintage Gucci products. The micro-site, which lives on the Christie’s auction house Web site, gives owners of vintage Gucci handbags and luggage the chance to have their items appraised by Patricia Frost, Christie’s Director of Fashion and Textiles.
