H&M’s limited edition collaboration launches have become famous for extremely long lines and die-hard fans camping out days before.
Today’s launch seems to have been pretty manageable so far in all major cities–perhaps thanks to H&M learning from past experience and figuring out what works, along with MMM having a more niche fan base than, say, Versace.

For the record, Kanye was wearing Margiela (well, Margiela for H&M anyway) and when we spotted him somewhere around the 7th floor he was all smiles which I take to mean that drunk fashion people (there were many, many well-stocked bars) weren’t shouting his own rap lyrics at him. Good job people!
An Angel appeared to me in the abandoned high rise where last night’s Maison Martin Margiela x H&M arty party was held: It was the heavenly Doutzen Kroes, who was more than obliging to chat with me (a mere mortal) about the recently leaked, unretouched photos of her modeling bikinis for Victoria’s Secret.
While Kroes is arguably one of the most beautiful women in the world without retouching, it can’t be easy to have slews of before-and-after comparison shots plastering the Internet and showing your every wrinkle, lump and bump. But according to Kroes, these kinds of mishaps come with the territory–and are actually a good thing.
