There’s been much ado made in the press over the last year about how Jennifer Lopez has pulled herself out of a slumping career. 2011 has seen J. Lo come roaring back with a vengeance. Her recent roles include: L’Oreal model/spokesperson, American Idol judge, a new album, and campaigns for Tous and Gucci.

So in light of all this success, the world greeted her divorce announcement on Friday with a fair amount of surprise. Maybe she’s been too busy to maintain a marriage. In public, J. Lo and Marc Anthony seemed like a pretty tight couple, but no one knows what goes on in a marriage except the two people involved.

When word broke Friday evening that Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony were ending their seven year marriage, your first thought probably wasn’t ‘But what about their line for Kohl’s!?’

If that thought did occur to you, as it of course did to WWD, never fear, Kohl’s is pressing along with the couple’s line despite their recent split.

In November Kohl’s announced that the celebrity couple would design men’s and women’s lines for the store as well as a line for home, to launch this coming September. According to WWD, Kohl’s heralded Lopez and Anthony as “the first celebrity couple to simultaneously design collections for one retailer.”

Kohl’s says they still plan to release collections by Lopez and Anthony, only with a slightly different billing.

Tonchi In The Hot Seat at W? : NY Post media columnist Keith Kelly has it from a reliable source that Condé Nast isn’t pleased with Stefano Tonchi’s work at W because they don’t like “direction the magazine is taking.” When asked for comment, Condé told New York’s Daily Intel that Kelly’s story was, “the furthest thing from the truth.
