It was a bleak episode for fashion this week on Game of Thrones. Everyone was captured or otherwise just being really dirty and disgusting in general. Ugh. Luckily Daenerys is back this episode to provide a little light (and we have some insight from costume designer Michele Clapton about her outfit), and we are officially introduced to the fetching Missandei.

Game of Thrones is officially back for its third season and last night’s premiere was definitely worth the (cruelly long) wait–both in the fashion and drama department.

Jon Snow’s hair is as magnificant as ever (if a little dirtier), Daenerys is really learning how to kick ass (and accessorize!) and the Margaery/Cersei “fashion fight” that G of T‘s costume designer Michele Clapton told us about is shaping up to be every bit as snarky as we hoped it would be.
