Russell Simmons Launching Yoga Brand: The hip hop magnate, who has been practicing yoga for more than twenty years, is now developing a new lifestyle brand around the “noise relieving” practice. The all-yoga encompassing ‘Tantris’ brand will initially include mens and womenswear activewear, meditation beads, scented candles, and mats, later expanding to freestanding stores, studios, and restaurants. Victoria’s Secret has definitely got a monopoly on the sexy market (which exists!), a fact that was made even more clear at last night’s Very Sexy for Spring 2012 show. “Hosted” by Angels Erin Heatherton and Miranda Kerr, the hour-long talk show-esque event, which was streamed live online, also included appearances from other Victoria’s Secret insiders who are experts on sexy (the noun). The web broadcast marked Victoria’s Secret’s further foray into being a lifestyle brand for all those aspiring Angels out there–lingerie was barely mentioned throughout the night.

Since Annie Leibovitz shot a naked and pregnant Demi Moore for Vanity Fair twenty-one years ago, it seems like pregnant celebs everywhere have been clamoring to strip down for the newsstands.n At this point, it’s practically a right of passage for expectant stars, as well as an informal announcement that “exclusive first baby pictures!” will be shopped around in the near future. Is pregnancy a valid excuse for famous women (most of whom would scoff at an offer from Playboy in normal circumstances) to take it all off?
