After we overdosed you on drool-worthy shoes from the Fall 2013 runways, we thought we’d push it a bit further with the best handbags from the Fall 2013 shows.
After 28 days of non-stop fashion action from New York to Paris, a lot of editors were probably thinking they were ready for a nap when Marc Jacobs took his bow in pajamas at the Louis Vuitton show. They didn’t find the deshabille looks Jacobs showed sleepy, however, and were also pretty jazzed about the dotty outfits at Miu Miu.
Those dark and twisted Hitchcock heroines we saw in Miu Miu’s spring 2013 show are back for the Inez and Vinoodh-lensed campaign, and we suspect they’ve got something up their sleeves.

It-bags, while not quite as flashy these days as their Baguette ancestors, are definitely still thriving. Much like the new It-girls, they’re more simply adorned and low-key. But despite a lower profile–and lack of logos plastered all over–they’re still very much a thing.

It was tough to pick just five girls from Paris Fashion Week’s abundance of sartorial greatness, but we did our best. We have a hard time ever excluding Alexa Chung, who looked adorable at Miu Miu. Lou Doillon is a Paris fashion icon in her own right and did not disappoint at Chanel. Rachel Bilson looked lovely at Dior. Anja Rubik rocked long, flowy ChloĆ© and Caroline Sieber got a head start on Spring’s white trend at Valentino.

Even though AW10 was their first season doing shows, combined they walked for such industry bigwigs as Prada, Marc Jacobs, Miu Miu, Celine, Proenza Schouler, and Burberry, just to name a few. Now they’re gearing up for SS11, which is sure to be another hit.
