What are you getting your dad for Father’s Day? Here’s a graphite cast of Marc Jacobs’s hand, flipping the bird. And it writes! Perfect! {High Snobiety}

Taxi TV has never been the most beloved thing about New York, but we can get on board (get it?) with the channel since Karlie Kloss & Uggie the Dog are starring in a new silent film advertising the Americana Manhasset mall. {The Cut}

Now is your chance to get some limited edition Lanvin accessories designed by the cutest man alive, Alber Elbaz, to commemorate his 10-year anniversary at the helm of the brand. {Telegraph}

Fashion News Roundup: Erin Wasson Models for Rockport Shoes, a New Balenciaga Exhibit Debuts, and Ralph Rucci Gets Lifetime Achievement Award

Erin Wasson to front Rockport Campaign: The model-turned-jewelry designer is going back in front of the camera as the face of Rockport’s Fall 2012 campaign. The shoe brand hopes that Wasson will help emphasize the “stylish” aspect of these shoes, which are worn mostly for comfort. {WWD subscription required}

Beard and Mustache Accessories Are a Thing?: It seems hipster girls are always trying to (ironically) look as unattractive as possible, thus making them more attractive to male hipsters. Refinery 29 found some chained accessories that attach to sunglasses, and hang down to create a “beard.” Weird. {Refinery 29}

Paris’ Galleria to Unveil Balenciaga Exhibit: To honor the 40th anniversary of the designer’s death, the Galleria in Paris will debut a Balenciaga tribute this Friday. The show, “Cristóbal Balenciaga, Collectionneur de Modes” (“Cristóbal Balenciaga, Collector of Fashion”) features a wealth of 18-20th century Spanish clothing, which was a great inspiration for the designer. {WWD subscription required}

Gwyneth Paltrow Explains How She Chose That Tom Ford Oscars Dress, Shows You How To Dress Just Like Her for Spring

Let’s just ignore Gwyneth’s other accomplishments (actress, goop-er, cookbook writer, singer, etc) and talk about her clothes today. With a few exceptions, she generally nails it. She knows what she likes, and for the last few years–let’s call them the Tracy Anderson years–she chooses things that are generally bodycon and sleek.

And speaking of sleek, Gwynnie is still riding the success of that Tom Ford Oscars dress, which was the subject of much swooning. How did she choose it?

Watch: Karl Lagerfeld Plays DJ with Supermodels To Promote New Line, Karl

From designing dozens (yes, dozens) of collections every year, to photographing his own campaigns, to creating a cool new beauty line, and raising one of the most adorable kittens we’ve ever seen, there really doesn’t seem to be much Karl Largefeld can’t do. Except, maybe, sleep.

The latest in the never-ending series of Karl exploits is this video lookbook for his new, lower priced line Karl by Karl Lagerfeld, where the designer tries his hand at working the turntables. Obviously, Karl does a pretty great job, and the visual effects are pretty cool too. “It’s a new mix,” the designer intones at the end. Indeed.

Karl by Karl Lagerfeld: The Complete Collection

We’ve been seeing bits and pieces of the Karl by Karl Lagerfeld collection online–we even got to style a model using pieces from the collection–but it finally (finally) goes on sale today at Net-a-Porter, starting at 10 a.m. Pieces range in price from $50 for a canvas tote to just over $1,000 for leather pieces. The Cut and Vogue UK both got a hold of the full look book modeled by Lagerfeld muse Saskia de Brauw. It makes us want to slick back our hair and wear silver leather RIGHT NOW.

On another note, we know that Karl is relatively tech savvy and carries around multiple iPads–and Net-a-Porter just tweeted that Karl is now on Twitter.

We Joined Karl Lagerfeld’s ‘Kult’ and ‘Karlified’ Our Favorite Fashion Peeps – Take a Look

Net-a-Porter is seriously hyping Karl Lagerfeld’s new masstige collection, Karl, which will debut exclusively on their site on January 25. Today they’ve launched a microsite and app dedicated, as they say in the release, “to all things KARL.” They are fast and loose with the k-supplanting, encouraging you to become a member of ‘Karl’s kult’ which grants access to exclusive images of the collection.

There’s also a Karl app, where users can play a Pac-Man like game where you gobble up Karl heads and a “Karlified” function where you can upload a photo of yourself and then “Karlify” it by posting Karl’s hair, collars, and sunglasses on your mug.

We decided to have a little fun with the Karlify part of the app and made over our favorite fashion people (and one kat) Karl-style. Take a look.
