April Fools is a fun “holiday.” However, you have to be even more skeptical than usual of every single thing you read on the internet on April 1. Listen: Tavi Gevinson Gets Made Fun of For Liking the ’90s, Talks About PMS on NPR

Fifteen-year-old blogger, Rookie editor and L’Officiel cover girl Tavi Gevinson went on NPR’s “WAIT WAIT…DON’T TELL ME!” with Peter Sagal, in which they discuss such topics as how to talk to teenagers, Anna Wintour and “stuff old people like.” For example, here’s how the discussion about the ’90s went:

SAGAL: But you seem to like things that happened before you were born. I’m told that you have a big obsession with the 90s in particular.
GEVINSON: You know, I like a lot of stuff from the 90s but
SAGAL: I was there. It wasn’t that much fun.
SAGAL: Like what? What do you like from the 90s?
GEVINSON: I like “My So-Called Life” and the Riot Grrl Movement and “Freaks and Geeks.”
SAGAL: Sure.
GEVINSON: Which went into 2000, but yeah.
SAGAL: I know, it still counts under the 90s. So like the culture of the 90s is exciting to you.
GEVINSON: Yes.
