In the wake Hurricane Sandy, hundreds of thousands of people still don’t have power. We know firsthand how hard it has been to try to shower, work, look presentable, etc., in the aftermath of this “perfect storm.” While many have been able to relocate to higher and drier ground, we know a lot of people who can’t and are either sticking it out sans power, or living out of a suitcase.

LVMH Says “Ole!”; Adds Ole Henriksen to Beauty Stable
LVMH has another posh beauty brand to add to its already impressive repertoire. Ole Henriksen will be joining Benefit, Make Up For Ever, and Fresh in LVMH’s beauty stable, LVMH announced today in a release.
Ole Henriksen–the guy behind the eponymous brand–studied cosmetic chemistry and then started a spa in Hollywood. This led to his line of natural and botanical-based skin care, which is now sold in 22 different countries. (He’s also Danish and hosted Ecco’s “Walk In Style” event to kick off Copenhagen Fashion Week and was hilarious and might need his own reality show.)
