Ricky’s Was Going To Sell An “Anna Rexia” Costume: It featured a skeleton frame printed on a skintight black dress and had a “measuring tape” belt, presumably so the wearer could show off how tiny her waist is. Obvious outcry forced the store to pull the costume; how did this even get produced in the first place?? {Jezebel}

OPI’s New Miss Universe Colors, Plus Nail Polish That Smells Like a Cocktail

Nothing like ending the week with a new OPI collection and a cocktail.

OPI was just named the official nail care sponsor of the Miss Universe pageant. To celebrate, the company wants you to find your inner beauty queen with its latest line of polishes, the Miss Universe collection. It’s a four color collection and includes: Congeniality is my Middle Name (berry-wine shimmer), It’s MY Year (champagne rose), Swimsuit…Nailed It! (shiny blue), and Crown Me Already! (silver sparkle). As befits a pageant, none of these are subtle, and they all have a heavy dose of shimmer. They’re available at the beginning of August and go for $8.50 each.

If you’re like us, it’s been a really long week and you probably need a cocktail. We can’t think of anything better than combining a drink with a manicure.
