Dolce and Gabbana Deny Discrimination Charges: After being accused of discriminatory practices barring Hong Kong residents from snapping photos outside their Tsim Sha Tsui store, Dolce and Gabbana has released a statement assuring the population that they are indeed not prejudiced. “Controversial statements reported in the Hong Kong press have not been made by Dolce & Gabbana nor its staff, and we strongly reject any racist or derogatory comments…we wish to underline that our company has not taken part in any action aimed at offending the Hong Kong public.” {WWD (subscription required)}

Kate Moss Designed a Makeup Collection for Rimmel London

Kate Moss has been the face of the UK drugstore makeup brand Rimmel London for ten years, but now it seems she’s been doing some behind-the-scenes work for the brand. The girls at Sassybella attended a Coty press event in Sydney and were surprised with the news that Kate designed a color collection for the brand, called appropriately enough, the Kate Moss Make Up Collection for Rimmel London.

The collection includes six lipsticks, in an intriguing array of colors, from orange to a very 90s grey-purple. Eye shadows and mascaras are included. (One can assume that the ads for these won’t involve any controversial touch-ups, like her 2007 Rimmel mascara ads.) The packaging is very Brit. Kate’s signature appears on the lipstick tubes, which are emblazoned with a Union Jack. There’s also a sparkly leopard print lipstick pouch which will be a gift-with-purchase.

Right now, we have no information about when or where Kate’s collection will be available, but, like her fashion collaborations, it’s sure to be a sell-out wherever it ends up. Here’s a peek:
