Last night in New York, Michael Kors received the Golden Heart Award for Lifetime Achievement for his 20-year support and commitment to God’s Love We Deliver, the New York non-profit that provides nutritious meals and counseling to people suffering from severe illnesses–and the stars, including Gwyenth Paltrow and Brooklyn Decker, came out in droves to celebrate. Among them was SNL‘s Seth Meyers, who had some pretty great (hilarious) fashion advice for the presidential candidates. Ryan Murphy Wants Tom Ford To Guest Star on Glee

Prolific television writer/director/producer Ryan Murphy was quite possibly the most popular guy at the Michael Kors-honoring God’s Love We Deliver event last night.

Full disclosure: Like Leah, I kind of fell behind on the show last season. But despite the show’s absence on my DVR queue, I’d have to live in a hole to not know that Sarah Jessica Parker guest stars this season as a Vogue.com editor with wardrobe tips from real life Vogue editrix Anna Wintour (and makeup inspired by former Vogue Paris editor Carine Roitfeld).

So, I couldn’t pass up an opportunity to ask Glee‘s well-connected helmer for some insider tips on what other fashion-y plans he has in store. And that’s when things got really good.
