Sienna and Savannah Miller Are Leaving Twenty8Twelve; Will the Brand Survive Without Them?

Twenty8Twelve, which launched six years ago, was one of the early celebrity clothing line success stories. Actress Sienna Miller launched the line with her professional clothing designer sister Savannah and the two have put out several solid collections of cute, wearable clothes. We were fans, which is why we were bummed and surprised to hear this morning that the Miller sisters are parting with the line.

The news is surprising considering the brand is still doing well. According to WWD, the Millers will “pursue other ventures” (a new BeachMint brand perhaps?) while the brand will continue on under the current design team as Twenty8Twelve London. Huh?

Surprise! Vogue’s second annual special edition best dressed issue just hit newsstands and in addition to trend reports and a list of new style stars, Vogue has dubbed this year the “Year of the Sister.” The glossy is covered, appropriately, by everyone’s favorite stylish twin moguls Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, neither of whom have ever done a Vogue cover (weird, right?).

Of course, they’re not the only fashionable sisters deserving of attention. Inside, they also feature Dakota and Elle Fanning, Kate and Pippa Middleton, Beyoncé and Solange Knowles, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Lou Doillon, Bianca and Coco Brandolini, Poppy and Cara Delevigne, Lily and Ruby Alridge, Claire and Virginie Clarins, and Rooney and Kate Mara.
