Confession: I recently became obsessed with Felicity and just finished all four seasons. In addition to suddenly feeling like Lost make so much more sense now (are Lost and Felicity essentially the same show???) and totally falling for Scott Speedman and the way he says “anything,” I’ve gained some fashion inspo.
When it comes to affordable outerwear options Uniqlo always has my back. So, naturally, when temperatures took a turn for the chilly, I made my way over to the brand’s flagship store in SoHo to scope out the season’s options.
Hitchcock, the Oscar-vehicle starring Anthony Hopkins as Hitch and Scarlett Johansson as Janet Leigh, hit select theaters this past weekend. There hasn’t been much fashion buzz about the film aside from Scarlett Johansson’s Psycho-themed V cover, which focused more on her scream than her clothes (as well it should have), but we’ve always had a soft-spot for the fashion in Hitchcock’s films.
As someone who really hates New York’s frigid winters, I probably should embrace Uniqlo’s Heattech line more than I have. But one item I have embraced is their tights.
They look like your average pair of opaque black tights, but are somehow–I swear–warmer than pants.

When any new website launches there are bound to be some glitches. I clicked on a link this morning on Uniqlo’s new ecommerce site and got an error message. Frustrating right? Wrong! Uniqlo’s error message is a lovely haiku.
