Fashion News Roundup: South Park Characters Get Naked for Marc Jacobs, Alexander Wang is Expanding in Asia, and a Model Chooses God Over Victoria’s Secret

Alexander Wang is Expanding Eastward: Alex Wang is breaking the typical fashion business expansion mould (West followed by Eastern markets) with plans to open fourteen locations in Asia in the next year. The designer, who has no plans yet to open any more US stores (he currently has only one in NYC) says he has seen “the progression” of fashion in China years after his mom tried to (lovingly) pressure him into moving there. Wang’s 4,000-sq-ft Beijing flagship store will open its doors next month. {WWD}

Are Adam Levine and Anne V. Dunzo? Rumor has it that genetically-blessed couple Adam and Anne have parted ways after two years of unwedded bliss. The Maroon 5 star was looking “really heartbroken” at a Super Bowl party. Hm. {NY Post}

They may be flawless supermodels now but even the Victoria’s Secret Angels were once inexperienced teenagers going through the typical awkward milestones–first kisses and all.

To get you in the Valentine’s Day spirit (which we tend to forget during Fashion Week madness), watch Doutzen Kroes, Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel, Erin Heatherton, Lily Aldridge and Lais Ribeiro–all scantily clad in VS undies–talk about the first time they ever smooched a guy. Turns out that being incredibly hot does not automatically make you a good kisser: Doutzen says her first kiss was “not so good,” while Lily cops to feeling embarrassed and running away afterwards. Erin’s first kiss, on the other hand, lead to a very, very sticky situation literally).

We won’t give the whole thing away but we have to say, hearing about their first kiss snafus, is making us feel a whole lot better about our teenage awkwardness.

Behold, the full Victoria’s Secret Designer Collection. Wow.

The line, which launched just yesterday, has been flying off the shelves, according to WWD. And we can see why: From unlined lacy bras, to chiffon teddies, the new collection offers a refreshing (and sophisticated) change from Victoria’s Secret regular, more playful fare. Don’t get us wrong–we love us some neon thongs–but the lacy underthings in their designer collection is stuff we could see actual, grown women we know wearing.

Carine Roitfeld Uses ‘Real People’ in VMan for Guest Editor Gig, Shoots a Pinup Calendar Featuring Victoria’s Secret Supermodels

Carine Roitfeld is continuing to relish her role as a freelancer by taking on yet another new quirky gig. She guest edited VMan‘s spring fashion issue, which will hit newsstands on February 14, WWD is reporting. And instead of using male models, she shot “real people.” Well, real men to be exact–like chefs, mechanics, architects and even a fireman. Obviously they’re all hot, or “not hard to look at,” as WWD puts it.

Carine told the trade, “I like men trendy, but not fashion victims. It’s more effortless.” She claims that the images in VMag are “very new for a men’s magazine,” which is quite intriguing.

If hitting the gym more didn’t make your list of New Year’s resolutions this year then at probably has now after watching this behind-the-scenes video of the making of the Victoria’s Secret swimsuit catalog, courtesy of Elle.com.

Though the new swimsuit collection is inspired by beaches of Brazil, Victoria’s Secret Angels Candice Swanepoel, Miranda Kerr, Alessandra Ambrosio and Lily Aldridge stripped to their suits on the sands of Bora Bora (tough life) for the legendarily hot Victoria’s Secret swimsuit catalog. And, as you can imagine, there are bouncing boobs, sultry stares, and sand-writhing galore. Oh, and some pretty cute bikinis too–not that those will be what you’re looking at. Read more »

Alessandra Ambrosio Didn’t Tell Anyone at Victoria’s Secret She Was Pregnant When She Walked in the Show

It’s now old news that Alessandra Ambrosio is four months pregnant (and was two months along when she walked the Victoria’s Secret show), but she’s started dropping details about the experience to the press. A woman’s body goes through a lot of changes even in the early weeks of pregnancy, so it had to be nerve wracking to contemplate being half naked with zillion people watching you. In an interview with US Weekly she revealed that she was worried she wouldn’t be able to walk the show and told the mag how she dealt with some early weight gain.

Rumor: Lily Aldridge Was Pregnant When She Walked in the Victoria’s Secret Show, Too

If there’s anything more disconcerting than how quickly a Victoria’s Secret Angel loses her baby fat post-preganancy, it has to be learning that some of them were actually pregnant when they walked in the show. Yesterday we found out that Alessandra Ambrosio was about two months pregnant when she pranced and danced down the runway in November, and now there’s news that another Angel may be pregnant with a li’l angel.

E! is reporting that Lily Aldridge and hubby Caleb Followill, who’s the frontman for Kings of Leon, are expecting their first baby.

Alessandra Ambrosio Was Pregnant When She Walked in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show

You would never have guessed it, but when Brazilian Angel Alessandra Ambrosio walked the runway in that revealing, corseted ballerina costume during last month’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, she was about two months pregnant.

Yep, Ambrosio’s second baby with fiancé Jamie Mazur is on the way, People has confirmed (they already have an adorable 3-year-old girl). And according to Brazilian magazine Istoe Gente (ONTD has a very rough translation), to whom she broke the news, she found out on her birthday, September 23, and is now about four months along. Since we’re amazing mathematicians, we figured out that means she was somewhere around two months pregnant when the show taped on November 9.
