It will come as no shock to anyone with a pulse and a passing interest in beauty and fashion to learn that nail polish is really effing popular. Consumers, magazines, blogs, men, 5-year-olds–pretty much everyone is into nails.

And it shows no signs of stopping any time soon. We still obsessively search for close-ups of celeb talons and wait with bated breath during every Chanel runway show to see what is gracing the models’ fingers. We jump on every press release touting something new in nails (magnetic polish! nail wraps!) And we’re not the only ones.
