Last year, Woolmark revived its International Woolmark Prize, a global fashion competition that is credited with springboarding the careers of Yves Saint Laurent and Karl Lagerfeld in the ’50s.
Today, the U.S. finalists have been announced and the list includes some of our favorites. They are:
Victoria Beckham can add a new distinction to her already ten-page-long list of accomplishments: The pop-star-cum-fashion-designer has just been named one of the judges of the prestigious International Woolmark Prize, Vogue UK is reporting.
And Beckham is certainly in good company: Donatella Versace and Diane von Furstenberg have also joined the judging panel this year, alongside Vogue Italia EIC Franca Sozzani and Style.com’s Tim Blanks.
