This weekend while everyone was celebrating Labor Day with picnics and barbecues, Kate Bosworth was walking down the aisle in custom-made Oscar de la Renta to wed Michael Polish in Montana.
Because Bosworth is pretty much as Vogue as a bride can get, Vogue filmed part of her wedding prep for its Weddings channel–including her dress fitting, and when she tried on the finished gown for the first time.

In recent years, brides have tried to ease their friends’ insecurities and stresses by letting them choose the style of the dress. A popular option is to head over to J.Crew and let your bridesmaids pick any dress silhouette, as long as it’s a certain color and fabric.
