In case it had somehow escaped your attention until now, this year's Oscars nominees are quite an attractive and chic crew. And that was on full display on Monday at the 90th Annual Academy Awards Luncheon in Beverly Hills, where the whole cohort of A-list actors gathered to remind us all how stylish and good-looking they are. That's the sole purpose of the event, right?

It's always interesting to see what celebrities on the awards circuit choose for daytime events, and while not all of the attendees seemed to agree on a similar dress code, many of them showed up looking really, truly great regardless. There were stand-out separates, like Mary J. Blige's head-to-toe cream Tom Ford ensemble (shown above) and Laura Dern's Stella McCartney (faux, we're assuming) leather skirt. Meanwhile, some of the youngest nominees showed up in bold, carpet-stealing colors: Timothée Chalamet wore a forest green Gucci suit that did Harry Styles proud, and his "Lady Bird" co-star Saoirse Ronan was a bright-orange vision in a fitted Cushnie et Ochs dress.
