I Didn't Know I Needed a Green Gucci Jumpsuit Until I Saw Rowan Blanchard in One

On Wednesday, 16-year-old phenom Rowan Blanchard sat front row at Gucci's Fall 2018 runway show on the first day of Milan Fashion Week, and it should surprise absolutely zero of you that we here at Fashionista were enormous fans of her look of choice.

We're enormous fans of Blanchard as a person, first and foremost, of course: Though the wunderkind got her big Disney Channel break at age 12 as the titular character on the "Girl Meets World," she quickly made a name for herself as an outspoken activist in areas ranging from feminism to humanitarian crises to gun violence; in June of 2015, Blanchard delivered a moving feminist speech at the UN Women's annual conference as a member of the #TeamHeForShe campaign. And, of course, she is also an author — her first book, a personal scrapbook of sorts titled "Still Here," was just released earlier this month. It's no wonder that the fashion industry has been tripping over itself to include Blanchard in campaigns, lookbooks, front rows and the like for years.

Which brings us back to Blanchard's Gucci appearance: For the occasion, she chose a a green crêpe wool jumpsuit from the brand's Spring 2018 collection, complete with short sleeves, zipped pockets (everyone loves pockets!!!!!!!!!!) and a fabric belt. She very cutely matched her rosy eye makeup to her pink velvet handbag, and opted for clompy, nude leather platform heels that only poked out from the bottom of her pant leg. It was a great look, and now, I desperately, desperately, desperately need a green jumpsuit.

Funny how that happens!
