Just in case you missed last night's L Word, here's what happened: the willowy sex bomb Shane was corralled into modeling for Hugo Boss underwear. That meant for about thirty seconds, you could see the almost-naked Katherine Moennig in a pair of Hugo briefs. I'm not sure I've seen such indellible underwear imagery since Marky Mark and Kate Moss, and I guess you all agreed - Fashionista got a rush of emails asking if Katherine Moennig was indeed the new face (body) of Hugo Boss underwear. Alas, it's not to be - according to Hugo Boss' American PR department, Shane's underwear photos were taken purely for the show, and not for a larger ad campaign. The bosses at Boss tell us that it was The L Word's idea to involve the brand, and their own plot to cast Shane as an undies icon.
