How genius is this Paper Magazine feature that turns couture into actual food? We were so inspired, we came up with a dish of our own, based on what we had in our fridge (which was nothing) and this vintage dress created by Andy Warhol: THE EDIE DINNER, BEST AFTER 1 AM: Open one can of Campbell's creamy tomato soup. Okay, we opened one box of Whole Foods' organic creamy tomato soup because we read Silent Spring in 7th grade and now we fear American produce. Pour into an antique crystal goblet from your great aunt's house in Queens. Sprinkle Trader Joe's shredded Mexican blend cheese on top. Microwave for two minutes. Ignore the warnings that you can't microwave an antique crystal goblet. You can. You can also use it as an ashtray, or a weapon if a boy breaks up with you in your bedroom. Take goblet out of microwave. Open bag of Kettle Chips, Hickory Honey Barbecue Flavor. Dispense chips into soup. Crush with spoon. Eat wearing too much eyeliner, while looking at coffee table books about Alexander Calder. Photographs of your ex boyfriend could also work. Fall asleep on your couch. Whatever you do, do not take off the extra eyeliner - it will look incredible in the morning.
