Prada isn't the only fashion house with a new flick - Chanel just posted their own movie, directed by photographer Bettina Rheims and starring model Julie Ordon. This is the second of Chanel's beauty films - the first was for Chanel No. 5. It had Nicole Kidman playing a weary starlet who takes refuge in a Chanel billboard, with Baz Luhrmann behind the camera. But that movie had a plot, while Prada's perfume film had lengthy dialogue and several haunting montages. This new Chanel flick doesn't have any of that - it cuts straight to the point: a naked blonde girl in a bed with a fully dressed man, applying Chanel red lipstick under her sheets. It's so artistic I can't even take it.
