H&M launches a new line next week called "Collection of Style." Priced about double the normal clothes, the range is less trendy and more classic, and designed by H&M createur Rebekka Bay. They debut next week in London, then spread to Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany. But just because it won't be sold in the States (yet) doesn't mean it's not important: Count this as another blur in the lines between mass market and high-end retail - and a very public acknowledgment that not everyone wants their clothing disposable, or even all that cheap.
