Dreamworks announced they would finally make a movie of Tintin! The Belgian comic strip that stars a trench coated reporter and his huffy puppy Milou as they travel around the world, breaking news and solving scary mysteries. Movie people may just be boarding the Tintin train, but fashion folk have embraced the cartoon hero for years. Tintin's signature belted jacket and short pants are constantly repeated on runways, and Marc Jacobs' recent accessories for Louis Vuitton feature a cartoon bellhop who could be Tintin's younger brother... or at least, his animated fashion spin-off.
