Zac Posen on His Mystery Met Ball Plans and Being a Fashion History Nerd
The socialites, models, and one football player (Justin Tuck) who attended last night's New Yorkers for Children spring dinner dance all looked stunning in in their gowns (Alina Cho was wearing a crazy enormous ostrich feather-skirted ball gown) but two of the best dressed attendees were undoubtedly Coco Rocha and Crystal Renn, both of whom wore Zac Posen. We chatted with the designer about how he himself dresses to match his dates, his 'surprise' Met ball date, and what he thinks about the biggest fashion news of the year--Raf Simons going to Dior. Most endearingly, Posen revealed himself to be a serious fashion history nerd who thinks Elsa Schiaparelli is a total 'bad ass.'
