Today, thanks to darling reader Lina, we've got a sneak peek at the Coco Mademoiselle ads, which have just started to run in France. The ads star Keira Knightley, who took over for Kate Moss last season in the campaign. Ironically, the ads seem to be styled with a slight homage to Pete Doherty: Check out the odd little hat she's clutching, as if she's about to shoot up and whisper some wayward love song into a crowd. Still, she does look beautiful - Is she a front-runner to land the other Chanel films? Meanwhile, yes, we will have something to say about the Chanel Cruise show tomorrow - but not what everybody else is saying, so don't worry...

Karl Lagerfeld's period film Once Upon a Time, which stars Keira Knightley as Coco Chanel, is finally here--all 15 glorious minutes of it. The designer-cum-director reportedly gave the actors, including Knightley, Clotilde Hesme, Lindsey Wixson, Stella Tennant, Tallulah Harlech, their lines just moments before shooting--which makes a lot of sense when you watch the film.
