Eric Wilson has a piece in the NY Times today on the increasing tension between designers like Philip Lim and Vera Wang, who are famous because of their sartorial talent, and celebs like the Olsen Twins, Kate Moss, Sarah Jessica Parker who despite having little to no formal design background make millions with their lines. Our favorite part of the article is Diane Von Furstenberg’s use of subtle snobbery to dismiss celebrity designers as “mass market,
