This season, the idea of spilled chianti seems to have soaked from lips to nails - Check out this backstage photo at the Lacroix Couture show, where the girls' fingers were first coated in a blood red base, then topped with bluish lacquer. The deep purple mixture seems to be a good compromise for those still sticking with black nail polish, and those who have tried to move onto neons, silvers, or pinks - Only to be reminded, as we have, that unless your nails are perfectly kept, those colors look awfully sloppy. So is this worth trying?
