If you're American, you've probably never heard of Antoni + Alison, but that may change after today. The design label, who celebrate 20 years as a British fashion brand this week, wrangled Nicole Kidman to star in a short film for their label that premieres during the company's show this morning. What's interesting - besides the movie, which will be beautiful - is that the story was the worst-kept secret in London! By yesterday morning, everyone was buzzing about Nicole, though nobody was allowed to talk about it. Why? We hear Nicole didn't want to disrupt her relationship with Chanel, with whom she has a contract. Technically, a public pairing with another designer isn't allowed, and Nicole was reportedly afraid if word got out of her performance, Chanel may try to stop the show from happening. This morning the gag order lifted, the story broke in the Daily Rubbish - the official newspaper of London Fashion Week - and Nicole could now face the wrath of Karl - though we imagine she won't, because this whole thing is just for fun.
