Halloween seems to be huge among fashion folk, probably because it's yet another excuse to dress up. At Alison Sarofim's famed Halloween party this weekend, our baby Chris Benz went as a matador and Fabiola Beracasa made her own outfit - she encrusted an orange couture gown with leaves and acorns to become, simply, "The Fall." Meanwhile, Subversive Jewelry's Justin Giunta donned plaid and grinned, "I'm a Fashion Bear." We dug it. Meanwhile, the Post has a poll today about which designer makes the best Halloween costume. Our choices are Karl Lagerfeld, Richie Rich, John Galliano, and Donatella Versace. We think it would be most fun to dress up as Karl, but Donatella wins the survey hands down. Maybe it's because more women are playing along than men - the feature is on the Fashion page, which is statistically read by more females, and if you've got a chest, dressing up like Galliano gets a major nix (at least, we wouldn't want to try it). But if you do dare to dress as Donatella, we recommend mixing your self-tanner with some baby oil, for that plastic-makes-perfect look. And just in case you're looking for a more low-maintenance option: Tonight we had a Halloween dinner, and pulled on a pink dress, a tiara from the toy store, and we wore a roll of toilet paper as a bangle. When anyone asked what we were, we said, "Oh, we're the Princess and the Pee." It went over really well, in that back-to-fifth-grade kind of way...

Normal Dudes Try to Make Sense of the Menswear Shows, Are Hilarious
We spend most of our time covering womenswear so we delight in the menswear shows because designers tend to take much bigger risks on the runway. Pink lace up bikini briefs? Intricate bondage? Quirky colorful top hats? Koosh-ball-like head coverings? It was all there on the runways of London, Milan and Paris. So we had to know: What do "real" men think about these outrageous ensembles? To find out, we reached out to our friends in the media who aren't fashion-affiliated--like Daniel Edward Rose of The Observer, Jo Piazza of Current TV, who, while a lady it's true, admits she has the mindset of a 13-year-old boy, and Elie Mystal of our brother site Above the Law. But we didn't stop there: we hit the streets of NYC to poll all the men we could find about these crazy looks.
