By popular and somewhat bizarre demand, Natalie uploaded the clip of Blair Waldorf at The Box onto YouTube. We don't really know what nutritional value this clip adds to the site, but we have decided this: If the Gossip Girl costume designers run over budget, they can just take that white slip, pair it with Doc Martens, fishnets, and a cardigan, and stick it on one of the characters who's supposed to be "downtown." Or on any of the blonde ones, for a costume party, in case they want to show up disguised as Chloe Sevigny from her Sassy days... Meanwhile, the clip does introduce something interesting to the lingerie-in-fashion idea of Spring '08: Though fashion is usually skewered young, is this trend - and the clothes that go with it - more for the over-25 crowd, or can a very young style junkie look not just hot but also chic when clothed in the dorm-slut garb of a slip and high heels?

What Would Blair Waldorf Wear to Marry Seth Cohen?
It's like all of our teenage dreams -- and simultaneously, all of our teenage nightmares -- are coming true.
Love At First Tights: How Gossip Girl's Blair Waldorf Changed My Style
It was love at first tights. In 2007, I was a college sophomore in Boston, still emotionally reeling from my recent transfer to a new school and the cancellation of the O.C. (aka the official ending of the high school me). Gossip Girl filled that void--and before I knew it, I found myself more than willing to trade in my dream of Seth Cohen for another seemingly unattainable infatuation: Blair Waldorf, or rather, Blair Waldorf's wardrobe. But after five and a half seasons of incoherent story lines, confusing plot twists, and apparently disappointing Nielsen ratings, Gossip Girl is really over. Like all great love stories/mediocre basic cable dramedies, the romance couldn't last forever. Things haven't been so great for a while now--but, to quote what's sure to be a future Taylor Swift song, I can still remember that very first 'XOXO'...
