Next up on Style.com - a video of Cory Kennedy and Jeremy Scott from Los Angeles. We're thrilled for sunlight and smeared eyeliner.
Jeremy Scott's shows ocassionally draw the odd celebrity and this season's was perhaps the oddest. Calvin Klein staple Joe Jonas was there (we've also seen at Simon Spurr and the Miu Miu party this week) in the front row alongside the likes of The Misshapes, Cory Kennedy and Sky Ferreira. However, Jonas was probably more able to relate to Scott's fall collection than you'd expect, as many of the prints and accoutrements featured icons from his own childhood. We're about the same age and there are few things I nostalgically recall more frequently than Lisa Frank (okay, I'm also a girl). And guess what covered one of Scott's colorful corsets? Lisa Frank stickers! It was a hodgepodge of '90s references, as Scott's collections often are, from Lisa Frank to Rainbow Brite to The Simpsons (Bart's head was a print on a few pieces) to video games to AIM emoticons. A very different, and more childish '90s inspiration compared to the grungy, post-punk outings we've seen from more conventional designers.
