We sat next to Andre Leon Talley at Yigal Azrouel's show this morning so it was very very hard to concentrate on the clothes since we kept glancing over to make sure that yes, we really were sitting next to Andre. Thankfully, the clothes were gorgeous and so we had no further problems keeping our eyes on the runway. Azrouel drapes his fabric, whether silk, leather or wool, with an ease that should put every Project Runway designer, even Rami, to shame. Almost every piece, with the exception of two floor length gowns, screamed "chic girl on the go." The muted spring colors, the matte paillettes, raw silk edges and chain details made for a collection of very sexy, but still wearable clothes. And his sequin dresses, (you can see them after the jump), flowed off the body like liquid, a welcomed new effect to a trend we'd grown tired of. We wish we could wear these clothes everyday, but Andre put it best when he glanced over, smiled and said, "Just beautiful!"
