If you happen to work in an office loft, then you might be familiar with our dilemma: Lots of co-workers, one big space, one air conditioner. And if you're anything like us, you might happen to sit right next to the air conditioner, where it emits its blasts of cold, whip-like wind, and the sleeveless outfit you picked out for the 85+ degree weather outside isn't helping your situation. So we were on the hunt for a cute, blanket-sized scarf that we could leave at work for the next three months, when we saw this tiger striped-like cashmere and silk option on Oak. At $165, it would be the most expensive scarf we have ever considered purchasing, but we see many uses for it once the summer's over - a cover on the beach, a legit scarf when it goes from summer to fall, a bedspread when we're not quite ready to blast heat into our bedroom, a turban for late-night silly sessions, etc. Until then, we'll just wrap ourselves up in it everyday and maybe growl a little if anyone tries to up the A/C.
